  • Milky nipples or breast tenderness
  • Headache

The treatment focuses totally on the underlying cause of the symptom. As PCOS causes missed periods there are various options for regulating the menstrual cycle, which include insulin sensitizers and  hormone-influencing medications and that address influence aspect of the problem.

The recommended options include:

 

  1. Metformin
  2. Oral contraceptives
  3. Fertility treatments
  4. Male hormone blockers
